There are two main Tube Stations to choose from: Shepherd's Bush Market (Hammersmith&City and Circle line) is a 12 minute walk away or Stamford Brook/Ravenscourt Park stations (District line) is a 20 minute walk (or a 5 minute bus ride!). If you continue walking past Shepherd's Bush Market station, along Shepherd's Bush Green, in 5 minutes you will be at Shepherd's Bush Central Line station (taking you straight into Central London) and also Shepherd's Bush overland train station, which is great for getting to Clapham or South East London (amongst other places). You can also jump on the direct SL8 bus from the main road which gets to Shepherd's Bush station in 5 minutes!
There are multiple bus stops within 1 minute's walk of the house and there is also an extensive network of bus routes from Shepherd’s Bush that take you all around London. Many of them are night buses.
There is a Tesco Superstore a 10 minute walk from the house as well as a few smaller supermarkets that are open for most of the day within a 5 minute walk!
At the end of the road is The Princess Victoria pub, a highly rated pub where Guy Ritche's The Gentlemen was filmed. You also have The Hoxton, The Pocket Watch and The Queen Adelaide within a 5 minute walk. For something softer you have the Wild Thyme two roads away with Little Napoli pizza round the corner and Proud Mary's cafe a 5 minute walk away.
If you head into Shepherd’s Bush you are in the perfect location for shops, restaurants, bars, cafés and pubs. The Westfield Shopping Centre is the largest city centre shopping centre in Europe (at 2.6million square foot, the equivalent of 45 football pitches). It is located just behind the Central Line and runs parallel to the Green; it contains hundreds of shops and restaurants, including 2 food courts and a 20 screen state-of-the-art multiplex cinema (with almost 3,000 seats).
Inside West 12 Shopping Centre, on the opposite side of the Green from the Central Line tube station, are over 30 shops including high street names and more specialised stores. There is a Lidl Supermarket inside, where you can do your weekly food shop; but there are also branches of Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsburys and Marks & Spencer an easy walk away. Shepherd’s Bush Market is one of the oldest established street markets in London and has fresh fruit and vegetable stalls, fresh meat and fish, clothes and nick nacks.
Shepherd’s Bush also has a local theatre called The Bush Theatre that puts on different small productions each month for a bargain price, some of their shows later move to the West End, London's theatre district. There are also many pubs and bars, fast foot places and restaurants and the O2-Empire music venue for live music is by the Green, 1 minute from the house.

They include: Phoenix Fitness Centre And Janet Adegoke Swimming Pool has, as the name suggests, 2 swimming pools as well as two separate gym areas with a wide range of cardiovascular and resistance equipment, hosting three women only sessions in the gym every week, a Sports Hall and fitness classes. If you head over to Shepherd's Bush Green there are a huge number of gyms and sports centres.
