Local Area Information:
South Ealing tube station is a five minute walk from the house. This is on the Piccadilly Line and takes you directly in to the centre of London, passing Hammersmith, Kensington and Knightsbridge on the way. Ealing Broadway Station is a 20 minute walk away, or a nine minute bus journey, where you can catch the Central Line or the District Line. There is also an overland train station in Ealing Broadway, giving you very fast access to the heart and city of London.
There is an extensive network of bus routes in the area that take you all around London. Many of them are night buses.
Shopping and Entertainment:
South Ealing High Street is a delight and has everything for your daily needs such as a supermarkets, chemists, butchers, bakers, banks, cafés, restaurants & pubs. For all other shopping you need go no further than Ealing Broadway where you will find major department stores, branches of all the big chains as well as a host of small speciality shops; you’ll never need to shop anywhere else.
